Ilanga Films is run by director Kirsi Liimatainen. The initial goal of the company, which is being founded at the moment, is to realize our own documentary projects. These will be high-quality programms - series and one-offs - for the European TV and Cinema market.
At a later stage Ilanga Films will start taking on documentaries of different authors and directors, as well as fictional projects. We will also expand our teaching activities and collaborate with social groups and communities on film and media workshops.
The company is based in Berlin and Helsinki.
